The mask passively hides the identity of the wearer. Any creature who gazes upon the wearer is unable to discern any notable or distinctive features that would help discern the identity or race of the wearer. Any creature who has already seen the wearer without the mask on is unaffected by this magical effect.
The mask also pieces magical illusions. The mask contains 3 charges of the Detect Magic spell. Casting these requires no verbal, somatic, or material components.
