Wondrous Item, very rare

This fine looking coach appears to be an ordinary well made travel coach with gold painted wheels, purple enclosure and red roof pulled by a fine muscular ebony black steed. On the coaches’ front side is a normal bench with comfortable leather padding to steer the horse. Two lanterns hang from the front edges. The inside however looks far from normal. Upon entering the coach, the space inside doesn’t make sense because it is magically enchanted.

The coach has AC 10, 100 hit points, and has damage reduction of 10 vs all slashing and piercing damage. The coach takes half damage vs all magical damage.

  • Riding inside or outside the coach is abnormally smooth over bumpy terrain. Large holes and bumps can still be felt, but even their impact is lessened by the coach’s magic.
  • The horse isn’t real, he never need be fed and is never spooked. If someone spends too much time around the horse they may start to realize he’s not a normal acting horse. Perception DC 15 after spending several rounds near the horse. DC 10 if someone tries to interact with it for more than one round. The horse has AC 12, and 25 hit points. If he is killed he simply vanishes with no sound or reaction, and he returns in 24 hours.
  • The space inside the coach is magically enchanted. Once inside the coach, the space within is 20 feet long, 15 feet wide, and 10 feet tall.
  • Along the wall on one side are 2 beds that flip down or can be flipped up and chained to the wall with provided latches to keep them out of the way. In one corner is a table and 2 chairs and in another corner, a small magical cast iron oven with a vent running up through the roof that can be used for cooking. The oven is always 400 degrees.
  • Along one of the walls is a wardrobe closet.
  • In each corner of the room is a wall mounted lantern. The 4 wall mounted lanterns and the two lanterns outside the coach can be touched and magically lit by saying “illuminate” in Dwarvish.
  • If more than 2,000 lbs. are placed on or in the coach, the horse will not pull the coach. This weight includes passengers on and in the coach.
  • Without the magical horse to pull the coach, the coach weighs more than 10 times what it should weigh.
  • By speaking the command words “Sular ne igira!” the coach can be shrunk into a 3-inch-long by 1.5-inch-tall black onyx figure that looks just like the coach without the horse. To do this feat, no other magical items or living creatures can be inside the coach. However, mundane items and food are magically shrunk inside the coach and preserved in time while shrunk. To expand the coach back to its full size, the person holding the onyx coach simply throws it onto the ground and says the command words as its flying through the air. The coach will only expand if the area is large enough for it to expand and doing so won't strike anything or anyone as it expands back to full size.
  • If the coach is damaged, each casting of the mending spell repairs it for 1d6 hit points. Otherwise, the coach slowly repairs itself at one hit point per day for each 24 hours it stays in onyx form.
