The Armor of the Forest was an ancient and powerful protection, crafted from enchanted wood that was as strong as steel. It could only be worn by those who were closely attuned to the Spirits of the Forest, those who had developed a deep appreciation and understanding of the natural world. Often, these were Rangers or Druids, as they were the ones that moved most freely and deeply through the forest's scope and knew its secrets. For days at a time, they would gather material from the enchanted wood of the forest to weave and construct the suit of magic armor.
Once completed, the Armor of the Forest was a tangible barrier against all manner of evil and harm, protecting its wearer from even the most powerful of foes. It was said that its protection was so strong that it could even deflect the arrow of a giant. The Armor of the Forest was one of the most prized possessions in the natural world, sought after by even the greatest of kings and queens. But it was said that only those with a pure heart and a true appreciation of the natural world could ever hope to do it, lest the Spirits of the Forest reclaim it from its unworthy wearer.
This armor consists of a coat and leggings (and perhaps a separate skirt) of leather covered with overlapping pieces of metal, much like the scales of a fish. The suit includes gauntlets.
