Boots of the Wounded Solider

Prized by many a soldier and bounty hunter, while frequently worn by assassins or members of mercenary guilds, these boots empower their wearer with bursts of speed and enhanced protection when threatened.

Reflexive Burst. Upon being targeted by an attack, the boots energize your very step. During your next turn your movement speed increases by 50%.

Guardian Shift. As a passive reaction to these incoming attacks, the boots momentarily harden their form. This increases your Armor Class (AC) by +1 for the duration of your next turn.
