Weapon (greatsword), artifact (requires attunement by a creature with the Strength score of 18 or higher)

Unquenchable Hunger: Whenever you reduce a creature to 0 hit points with Aatrox, the World Render, you gain temporary hit points equal to half the damage dealt to that creature. These temporary hit points last for 1 minute.

Bloodwell:

  • Aatrox, the World Render, has 5 charges. Whenever you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you may expend a charge to regain 1d6 hit points and regain a use of your Rend ability (see below).
  • Aatrox, the World Render regains 1d4+1 charges at dawn.

Rend:

  • As an action, you can make a melee attack with Aatrox, the World Render. On a successful hit, you deal an additional 2d8 slashing damage and regain hit points equal to half the damage dealt by the Rend. You must be attuned to Aatrox, the World Render, to use this ability.
  • Once you use the Rend ability, you cannot use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Darkin Blade:

  • Aatrox, the World Render counts as both a magical and silvered weapon for the purpose of overcoming resistances and immunities.
  • When you score a critical hit with Aatrox, the World Render, you may immediately take an additional attack as a bonus action.

Blood Thirst:

  • When you hit a creature with Aatrox, the World Render, you may choose to roll an additional 1d6 damage. If you do, you take 1d6 necrotic damage at the start of your next turn. You cannot use this feature again until you finish a short or long rest.

Blood Price:

  • Once per long rest, you can choose to sacrifice a portion of your life force to empower Aatrox, the World Render. For the next minute, your attacks with Aatrox deal an additional 2d6 necrotic damage, and you gain a flying speed of 60 feet. During this time, you take 2d6 necrotic damage at the start of your turn. After the minute expires or you drop to 0 hit points, you fall unconscious and begin making death saving throws.

Cursed: Once attuned to Aatrox, the World Render, you cannot willingly remove the sword from your possession, and you are bound to fulfill the insatiable hunger of the weapon. You must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 18) at the end of each long rest. On a failed save, you become obsessed with the sword's power and refuse to part with it. You gain a flaw, which compels you to seek out powerful opponents and slay them to feed Aatrox's Bloodwell.

Furthermore, each time you use the Blood Price ability, you must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 15) or suffer one level of exhaustion. This exhaustion level can only be removed by feeding the sword with the souls of powerful creatures. The sword itself becomes increasingly demanding, and it may occasionally whisper dark, coercive thoughts to you, encouraging you to take risks and make sacrifices in its name.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, creature with the Strength score of 18 or higher, Healing, Damage, Combat, Heavy, Two-Handed, Graze
