An arrow with a shaft of polished white wood. A deep grove runs down the middle of its exceptionally long arrowhead.
An arrow of vengeance is a magic weapon made to destroy an individual foe. The arrow has the effects of a typical arrow until it has made contact with the blood or equivalent fluid of the creature it is intended to harm. The arrow requires 1d4 hours to become attuned to the target's blood; after this an attack made with the arrow against the intended target has advantage. If the target of an attuned arrow of vengeance takes damage from the arrow, the creature must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw, taking an extra 6d10 piercing damage on a failed save, or half as much extra damage on a successful one. The arrow has no effect on any other creature, unable to cause even the slightest injury.
Once an arrow of vengeance deals its extra damage to a creature, it disintegrates into ash.
Notes: Damage: Piercing, Damage, Combat, Bane
