These claws were created by an other worldly metal called Adamantium, from a place called Earth-616. With the help of science and magic, evil mages implanted these metal claws directly inside the host in place of their bones. Now their bones are indestructible, and enchanted with magic capabilities designed to keep the host alive.
When attacking with the claws, the host gains the following effects:
- +5 to constitution saving throws
- +7 to attack modifier on claw attacks
- attacks deal 4d6 necrotic damage
- on attacks that deal 20 damage or more, regain health equal to half the damage dealt
- as a bonus action, you can empower the claws for 1 minute. For the duration, each of your melee attacks can reach a target up to 15 feet away from you, as inky tendrils launch toward the target. In addition, your melee attacks deal an extra 1d6 force damage on a hit.
Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
