Weapon (longsword), legendary (requires attunement by a Paladin)

You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. When you hit a fiend or an undead with it, that creature takes an extra 2d10 radiant damage.

While you hold the drawn sword, it creates an aura in a 10-foot radius around you. You and all creatures friendly to you in the aura have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects. If you have 17 or more levels in the paladin class, the radius of the aura increases to 30 feet.

Created with the soul of a devoted cleric of Tyr, TruthSeeker can Detect Lies at a 60 ft radius. Then it communicate them inmmediatly to the owner. Failing in exposing it create a conflict with the weapon. Anyone can resist to this passing a CHA ST dc 12 even uncounsciously. 

Sentience. TruthSeeker is a sentient lawful good weapon with an Intelligence of 12, a Wisdom of 15, and a Charisma of 15. It has hearing and darkvision out to a range of 120 feet.

The weapon communicates telepathically with its wielder and can speak, read, and understand Common. It has an imposing, deep and comanding voice. The weapon can sense the presence of non-lawful creatures within 120 feet of it.

Personality. Truthseeker is obsesed with the truth. It doesn't allow the slighty deviation of the truth, and doesn't allow its owner to lie, in any circumstance.If it hears or detect a lie in the radius of his Detect Lies Spell it compells his owner to expose it and make the liar repent. If the weapon wins a conflict it will speak with its own voice but using the owner's mouth to expose the liar. The sword does not control the body just the mouth and voice. 

If it discovers an old lie that still affects the living it seeks to repay the damage done. If the owner doesn't actively work to repair this, the nose of the owner grows an inch per day until the damage is repaired. 

 

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
