You gain a +1 bonus to AC while you wield this shield. The shield grants you advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made in stony or subterranean environments due to its composition of natural materials that are common in such locales. Once per long rest, you can use the shield to cast the Stone Shape spell as an action, without expending a spell slot or material components (save DC equals your spell save DC).
The Aegis of the Underwarden is believed to be crafted by master dwarf artisans and enchanted by druids who understand the deep places of the world. It resonates with the stone around it, helping the bearer blend into the cavernous backgrounds of a dwarven stronghold.
Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
