Potion, rare

This vial of clear liquid medium appears to be water, until it is viewed under direct sunlight. The medium then takes on a constantly swirling, translucent rainbow appearance, even when the medium is perfectly still. The medium is also significantly thicker than water, moving almost like sap.

When opened, the medium is tasteless, odorless, and colorless. When a single drop of another liquid is added to the vial, all of the medium in the vial is transformed into the liquid that was added. This medium is often used by alchemists who create a new potion but mistakenly do not record the recipe.
