An arrow of soul seeking is a magic weapon. When an attack with this arrow hits, you can make a second attack roll against another target that you can see within the range determined by your weapon. If the second hit lands, you may attempt to hit one more target. The third target cannot be one of the previous two targets. The arrow loses its magical property once fired and cannot be reused in this way.
Other types of magic ammunition of this kind exist, such as bolts of soul seeking meant for a crossbow, though arrows are most common.
Proficiency with a Shortbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
