A thin cuirass as dark as the void which lends it its name, it is cold to the touch. When worn it is harder than the finest steel, but when stored it folds easier than any silk. Its wearer feels it understands their motivation and will. When equipped the wearer has advantage on stealth saving throws/checks and an AC of 16. When a blow does land it is entirely absorbed by the armor. But each hit causes the armor to flake and tarnish losing its signature other worldly appearance. You have a feeling the armor will decay and eventually break after enough hits.
This armor consists of a fitted metal chest piece worn with supple leather. Although it leaves the legs and arms relatively unprotected, this armor provides good protection for the wearer's vital organs while leaving the wearer relatively unencumbered.
