A ring with 4 claws holding a black gem(turns red after attuning). The original wielder can multiply the ring up to 10 times. Anyone given and then attuned with the ring will have a cat spawn from closest shadow.
The ring’s connect to all other rings through the cat that spawns and wielders can send messages with the cat to other wielders. The cat can interact with the world but may not enter combat.
The wielders can communicate with their own and other wielders cats telepathically but can only control their own. The cat looks is based on the wielder and may be unnatural if it fits best. For example a Druid may have a cat that has leafs instead of fur, a Giant may have a giant cat or a fire Genasi may have cat made entirely of fire. Its up to the players and dm to choose how crazy it can go.
Notes: After attuned so will the stone glow red and a cat will appear out of the wielders shadow and transform to match the wielder.
