Weapon (pistol), uncommon (requires attunement)

This firearm was cursed into existence by the Wicked Witch of the Wild West by Salem Oregon, but was used by the Undertaker gang member Tennessee Wilson. The firearm has been reverse-engineered with its strange mix of engineering and witchcraft. This witchcraft physically warps the gun into the shapes that are desired of it. It is named after an old occultist tale of a black dog that brings destruction where it goes. It has 4 charges and regains 1d4+1 charges at dawn.

You can spend 1 charge as an Action to warp the firearm into a shotgun with the metal splitting into two barrels that release a swarm of small projectiles. It fires in a 15-foot cone of bullets with those in it needing to make a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, the creature takes 3d6 piercing damage, or half as much on a success.

You can spend 2 charges as an Action to warp the metal into an extra long length with the bullets themselves becoming infused with the imbued spirit of the weapon. This action is a normal attack roll, but your range increases to 150/600, and the damage increases to 3d8 plus your normal damage modifiers for this weapon.

Proficiency with a Pistol allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.

Notes: Damage, Combat, Loading, Range, Ammunition (Firearms), Vex
