Aegis Core

While attuned to this item, the Steel Defender gains a bonus to all saving throws equal to it's creators intelligence modifier. The Steel defender, while attuned to this item, is also considered huge for the purposes of carrying capacity and gains the ability to be mounted by 2 creatures of medium size or smaller.

Additionally, the steel defender may use a reaction when a creature within 30 feet fails an ability check or saving throw, adding a bonus to the save equal to its creator's intelligence modifier, potentially turning a failure into success. Using this reaction also uses the creator's reaction.

The Aegis Core is also equipped with an arcane energy projector that allows the steel defender to make a ranged spell attack as a bonus action. This attack has a range of 60 feet and deals 2d8+5 force damage on a successful hit.
