The Advent of Fire is a staff meant to focus a wielder's spell power. While it's true strengths lie in spells aligned with it's fiery heart, all may benefit from hits strength. The staff is a focus and may not be used to make a melee attack.
All spells deal and extra d6 fire damage which ignores resistances. Fire based spells gain an additional +4 bonus fire damage.
In addition, the user may choose to 'load' a spell into the Advent of Fire at the cost of one spell slot of one higher tier. Sacrificing this spell slot allows the user to 'release' the spell using a Free action during the user's turn. The 'loaded' spell has two charges but wears off during the next long rest.
Allies within 15 feet of user have advantage on insight checks
Notes: Damage: Fire, Damage: Fire, Must spend 1 hour every long rest communing with Advent of fire. Doing so will allow user to choose it's spell load.
