Amulet of the Plague Star

This amulet hangs heavy with the weight of an unknowable loss. It is carved of a rare mineral called Vivianite, a gemstone that grows exclusively on skeletons of decaying corpses. What power is conjured by this amulet has its roots in something far removed from anything that could be considered holy.

This amulet suffuses your whole body with a vile aura. While you wear it you gain resistance to poison damage and can use the amulet as a +2 spellcasting focus.

Additionally, you can speak an incantation to abjure Arayats Bramble Curse. Doing so will also defile the bodies of any dead in the area, preventing resurrection and damning their souls to an eternity on the fugue plane, sparing only the one under the effects of the Bramble Curse.
