Artemis, the goddess of the hunt, is here to vanquish your foes.
When you nock an arrow on this bow, it whispers, "Swift death to my prey." When you use this weapon to make a ranged attack, you can, as a command phrase, say, "Swift death to you who I shall hunt." The target of your attack receives the Hunter's Mark debuff, which is there until you run out of arrows or they take a long or short rest.
Your target gains no benefit from cover, other than total cover, and you suffer no disadvantage due to long range when using this longbow.
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
