Arumdina is the sentient two-headed battleaxe used by Garl Glittergold, the primary god of the gnome pantheon. Crafted by Flandal Steelskin, another gnome god, Arumdina is intelligent and capable of cleaving through any substance. Creatures have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with Arumdina.
Durability Negation
When determining if an attack with Arumdina hits or misses a target, the AC of the target is calculated differently than normal. If the target is a creature, their AC against this attack is equal to 10 + their Dexterity modifier. They cannot benefit from armor, or any other bonus to their AC that comes from a physical barrier of any kind (such as from a Shield spell, Mage Armor, or the Unarmored Defense trait from the Barbarian class). AC bonuses that work by making the target more difficult to hit (such as the Haste spell or Unarmored Defense trait from the Monk class) can still benefit the target's AC. The DM determines what AC bonuses would be negated by Arumdina's ability to cleave through anything. Stationary objects always have an AC of 10.
Additionally, Arumdina always deals the maximum damage possible on a hit, and ignores slashing resistance and immunity.
Sentience
Arumdina is a sentient lawful good weapon with an Intelligence of 19, a Wisdom of 11, and a Charisma of 14. It has hearing and darkvision out to a range of 120 feet.
Personality
Arumdina speaks in a robotic tone, straightforward with its answers and using technical high-brow terms as frequently as possible. They also have a bit of an attitude, sometimes indirectly or directly insulting the wielder when answering a question.
Proficiency with a Battleaxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, a gnome with proficiency with battleaxes, Damage, Combat, Sentient, Versatile, Topple
