This blade, made of of three large gem enstudded pommel pieces, and a massive spade shaped blade, curves into one sharp elongated point at the end. The three pommel pieces are seperated by a large ruby heart, obsidian club and a diamond, matching to the cards inside an average deck. The blade at the tip of this massive sword is split into two different materials, one of which made of an Ethereal damaging substance, the other being able to cut through both man and any creature upon the material plane's flesh. You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls while wielding this weapon. When you hold this weapon, you gain the ability to additionally see into the Ethereal plane, as well as creatures inside of the plane. This enables you to hit creatures on the Ethereal plane. When you do so, the targetted creature must additionally make a DC 15 Charisma saving throw, a failed saving throw causing them to be forced to leave the Ethereal plane, transporting back to the Material plane. This causes them to take an additional 2d6 psychic damage plus the original damage. When you hit a creature on the Material plane with an attack from this weapon, they must make a DC 10 Charisma saving throw or be affected as if by a critical hit, the blade providing both luck and a sharpened edge to the cut. When another creature tries to attune to this weapon, or hold the blade for longer than a turn, they have to make a DC 20 Charisma saving throw, a failed save causing one of the three pommel pieces to light up, roling a D3 to determine the result. On a success, the creaure successfully attunes to the blade.
Attunement Failure
1: The Ruby Heart lights up, sending out a magical force of healing, taking away life force from the unattuned creature and giving it to the wielder. The creature holding the blade loses a number of hit points equal to 10 + half of the attuned creature's level. The attuned creature regains the same number of hit points that the targetted creature lost.
2: The Obsidian Club glints brighter, sending out a wave of misfortune to the unattuned creature holding the blade. This creature must roll a D6 everytime they make an ability check, saving throw and attack rolls for the next hour. Whatever the D6 lands on is subtracted from the die result for the creatures roll.
3: The Diamond exudes bright beams in all directions, staggering both the the one wielding the blade, as well as allies of the creature nearby. Each creature within 10-feet of this blade when this effect happens become blinded, and must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or additionally be stunned. This effect, or effects, last for 1d4 rounds.
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
