Wondrous Item, rare (requires attunement by a spellcaster capable of at least one second level spell)
This amulet is engraved with images of the sun and the moon and hums with mystical power. It has five charges that can be used to activate specific communication spells during the day or at night.. "Day" is defined as any time the sun is above the horizon. "Night" is defined as any time the sun is below the horizon.
After the attuned wearer completes a long rest, the amulet regains 1d4+1 charges.
- Speak with Plants costs one charge and can be cast during the day.
- Speak with Animals costs two charges and can be cast during the day.
- Speak with Dead costs three charges and can be cast at night.
At twilight (defined as 30 minutes before the sun rises—or 30 minutes after it sets), any of the three spells can be cast.
