Weapon (war pick), artifact (requires attunement by a Must Attune to this item)

This ancient mace-axe, crafted by master artisans of a long-lost Egyptian dynasty, resembles a fusion of a traditional mace and a battle axe. The shaft of the weapon is made from blackened wood, inlaid with gold hieroglyphics that tell tales of heroic deeds and divine judgments. The head of the mace is shaped like the sacred Ankh, symbolizing life, with its looped top and straight handle. One side of the Ankh's loop extends into a sharp, crescent-shaped axe blade, gleaming with a golden hue, resembling the sun.

The weapon's handle is wrapped in finely tanned leather, etched with symbols of Ma'at, representing truth and order, aligning with the character's lawful good nature. The base of the handle features a small, intricately carved scarab beetle, known for its symbolic association with rebirth and regeneration in Egyptian mythology.

Sun's Embrace: Once per day, the wielder can cause the Ankh of the Sun to emit a warm, golden glow. For the next minute, attacks with this weapon deal an additional 1d6 radiant damage.

Ma'at's Insight: The Ankh of the Sun can cast 'Zone of Truth' in a manner that reflects the wielder's growing sense of justice. After using this ability, it recharges at dawn. Roll a d6; on a roll of 6, the ability is recharged and can be used again that day.

Proficiency with a War Pick allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
