Amulet of Deusex Machina

The Amulet links to a creature for life, and at seemingly random intervals absorbs that creature into a harmless pocket dimension within itself. The creature returns seemingly at random, not feeling the effects of time since they left. Upon their return the roll a D100 and they are affected based on the following table:

1-10: no effect.

11-20: They return with a "cute" effect on their body, for example they turn pink or grow bunny ears or have anime eyes.

21-30: They are returned with a body part of an animal, for example, feathers, a beak or horns.

31-40: They are returned covered in a liquid, like water, grease, slime or alcohol.

41-50: They are returned hovering 5 feet above the ground and are unable to touch the ground.

51-60: They are returned but are only able to speak through singing.

61-70: They are returned with a horror themed body modification, for example blades for fingers, tentacles or glowing red eyes.

71-80: They are returned but any time someone makes a pun they take 1hp damage.

81-90: They are returned but with a Ariana Grande style pony tail.

91-100: no effect.

Once they've been dragged back into the amulet, any previous modification ceases to affect them.
