Random Properties. The Attunement Gem (Supreme) has the following random properties, determined by rolling on the appropriate table in the Dunegeon Master's Guide:
- 2 minor beneficial properties
- 1 major benefical property
- 1 major detrimental property
Supreme Magician: While this gem rests upon your brow, you may use it as a spellcasting focus, freeing your hands of needing to hold an arcane focus. You gain a +3 bonus to spell attacks and your spell save DC while you are wearing it.
Unstable: With the raw, awesome power that comes with wearing this gem, it can at times trigger random magical responses. While using this as an arcane focus and you roll a 1 on the die for a spell attack, the gem malfunctions and a burst of unadulterated magic shoots forth from it. Roll a d100 on the Wild Magic table, and the effect rolled immediatly happens. If the effect rolled forces you to use a spell attack or spell save DC, you use your own.
This tiny cut pink diamond gem allows its user to attune to additional magical items at a risk. As a part of a long rest, a creature can rest the stone in the middle of their forehead. When they complete this rest, they awaken to the gem magically affixed to them. A user can choose to remove a gem that is affixed to them as apart of a short or long rest. As long as the gem remains affixed to the users head, they gain an additional 3 attunement slots.
The gem has an AC of 20 and an HP of 100. The gem can be forceably removed by contested intellegence check. If the gem is forceably removed, or destroyed, while still affixed to the user, every creature within a 10 foot radius sphere of the user must make a DC 20 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, acreature in this sphere takes 8d12 force damage for each magical item the user was attuned to and are stunned until the end of their next turn. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and are not stunned.
Notes: Set: Attunement Slots, Bonus: Spell Attacks, Bonus: Spell Save DC, Stunned
