Glorious Evolution (Passive). The armour starts with 1d4+1 charges and can hold a maximum of 10 charges. It regains 1 charge for every 30 points of damage dealt by the wearer. The charges reset to 1d4+1 at dawn. These charges may be expended to empower any of the abilities granted by the plate.
Siphon Power (2/short rest). Ranged Spell Attack Using Spellcasting Ability, range 60 ft., one target. Hit: 2d8 + 5 force damage. Gain temporary HP equal to a quarter the damage dealt. Empower (2 charges): Increases damage to 4d8 + 5, gains half damage as temporary HP and +10 ft. to movement speed until the end of your next turn.
Gravity Field (1/long rest). As an action, create a 20 ft. radius sphere within 60 ft. all creatures inside must make a Strength save or have their speed halved. Two consecutive failures causes restraint for 1 minute. Empower (3 charges): Increases sphere to 30 ft., restrained enemies take 2d6 psychic damage each turn.
Death Ray(1/long rest). As an action you cause a 100ft long, 5ft wide line of pure energy to pulse from you. All creatures in the line must make a Dexterity save or take 5f6 force and 5d6 fire damage, and half as much on a success. Empower (3 charges): A secondary pulse bursts in the same line the death ray was cast in the round after the initial casting. This explosion causes 4d6 fire damage to all creatures within 10ft of anywhere on the line who fail a Dexterity saving throw, and half a smooch on a success.
Chaos Storm(1/long rest). As an action, conjure a 10ft wide singularity within 60 ft. for 1 minute. Those caught in the singularity take 3d8 lightning damage at the start of each turn. Bonus action to move singularity up to 30 ft. Empower (4 charges): Increases damage to 4d8 lightning, bonus action to move singularity up to 60 ft.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
