You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage modifiers with this weapon. This weapon's range is increased to 60/120. This weapon gains reload (13). This weapon deals 1d8 piercing damage and 1d6 fire damage.
Memento Mori. When you kill an enemy using Ace of Spades, it's critical range increases by 1. This effect lasts for 18 second (3 rounds) and stacks up to 4 times, resetting the timer with each new stack. When you score a critical hit or the timer runs out, all stacks reset to 0.
Firefly. When you land a critical hit, it causes an explosion with a radius of 10 feet from the target. All creatures within the radius must make a DC 14 dexterity saving throw, and the original attack target makes their save with disadvantage. On a fail, all creatures within the radius take 3d6 fire damage. On a successful save, they take half the amount of damage.
It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
