Ark:Studded Leather

The Artificers of Avaris created the Arcsis system to assist Arcanists in and out of combat. Ark Armor takes existing arms and armament to a new level, giving them versatility for an ever-changing battlefield. You must be attuned to an Arkstar to use this Arc:Gear. Arc:Gear devices can only recover expended charges using a power relay station during a short or long rest. 

• You have a +1 bonus to AC while wearing this armor. 
• You become resistant to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.

Advance Damage Absorption. When you are dealt damage, you can expend a charge of this armor and use your reaction to reduce the damage dealt by 1d6. Then, for the next minute or when you hit a creature with a melee or range attack, you can deal additional damage equal to the damage reduced. 

Made from tough but flexible leather, studded leather is reinforced with close-set rivets or spikes.
