This mithral armor is emblazoned with the symbol of an all-seeing eye in the center of an iron shield set into the chest, paying homage to the worship of the Shieldfather as well as the powerful abilities of Divination. You gain the following benefits while wearing this armor:
- You gain Immunity to the Blinded condition
- You gain Expertise in Investigation checks while you are attuned to the armor
- You can cast the spell Detect Magic at will
- You can grant yourself Truesight for 10 minutes. Once you do this, you cannot do so again until the next dawn.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
