Weapon (greataxe), very rare

An ancestral weapon has been passed down from hand to hand for many generations normally purely ornamental until a time of great need. You wake attuned to your family's weapon urging you to satisfy the spirit within and bring honor to your name.

+ 2 Weapon - You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

Thrown 30/60 - The wielder may throw Ancestral Summons as an attack, (30/60), dealing damage as if the attack was a normal melee attack. Ancestral Summons will return to the wielder's hand after each throw.

Psychotic Strike - Successful attacks with this weapon deal an extra 1d8 psychic damage.

Psychic Lance - As an action, once per long rest, the user may throw this weapon as if making a normal melee attack at an enemy within 30 feet. If the attack hits, the target takes the attack's damage and the target must make an Intelligence saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes 7d6 psychic damage and is incapacitated until the start of your next turn. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and isn’t incapacitated.. Ancestral Summons then returns to the wielder's hand.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
