Armor (leather), legendary (requires attunement by a Druid)

A powerful relic passed down from generation to generation of Clan Alerion's Keepers, the custodians of the Wending Wood. The last known wielders of this artifact are Keeper Ilshae, who then passed it onto her First, Velanna, when she became Clan Alerion's Keeper. Keeper Velanna would eventually work side by side with the local Warden Commander in cleansing the Wending Wood of the corruption of the Dark Spawn. Even becoming a Warden herself. As a show of trust and cooperation between the two groups, she gifted the young Warden Commander with the relic.

While attuned to the Armor of the Sporekeeper, you gain the following benefits:

  • Resistance to necrotic damage.
  • Your base Armor Class is 14 + your Dexterity modifier.
  • Malefic Funghi: The wearer gains a +2 bonus to Spell Attack Rolls and Spell Save DC, and when dealing necrotic damage, they deal an additional 1d6 necrotic damage. Summons, including zombies from the Fungal Infestation ability, also deal an additional 1d6 necrotic damage on top of their normal damage.
  • Nature's Aura: The wearer's summoned creatures have resistance to all damage except psychic damage. This includes zombies risen with the Fungal Infestation ability.
  • Nature's Afterlife: Zombies summoned through your Fungal Infestation ability now rise with 15 hit points, instead of 1.
  • Spore Sacks: When imbued with Symbiotic Entity, not only can you activate your Halo of Spores, but you can also choose to spread Bibberbang Spores, Timmask Spores, or Haste Spores.

Bibberbang Spores

When a creature you can see moves into a space within 10 feet of you or starts its turn there, you can use your reaction to eject necrotic bibberbang spores and create a cloud of necrotic fumes. This cloud surrounds you in a 10-foot radius. Any creature that starts its turn in the cloud, or enters the cloud, takes 1d4 necrotic damage unless it succeeds on a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. Then it only takes half of the necrotic damage. This cloud lasts for 3 turns. The necrotic damage increases to 1d6 at 6th level, 1d8 at 10th level, and 1d10 at 14th level.

 Timmask Spores

When a creature you can see moves into a space within 5 feet of you or starts its turn there, you can use your reaction to eject timmask spores that create a cloud of stunning fumes. This cloud surrounds you in a 5-foot radius. Any creature that starts its turn in the cloud, or enters the cloud, takes 1d4 necrotic damage, and becomes stunned, unless it succeeds on a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. Then it only takes half of the necrotic damage. This cloud lasts for 2 turn. The necrotic damage increases to 1d6 at 6th level, 1d8 at 10th level, and 1d10 at 14th level.

Haste Spores

As a bonus action you eject a white cloud of haste spores. This cloud surrounds you in a 5-foot radius. Any creature that enters this cloud gains the effects of the Haste spell. This cloud lasts until the end of your next turn.

The breastplate and shoulder protectors of this armor are made of leather that has been stiffened by being boiled in oil. The rest of the armor is made of softer and more flexible materials.
