This staff has 6 charges and regains all expended charges each day at dawn The charges can be used in the following ways

  • as a bonus action, you can expend 1 charge while tapping an object with the staff to set that object on fire
  • as an action, you can expend 3 charges to set a point within 30 feet of you that you can see on fire
  • as an action, you can spend 5 charges to create an instantaneous burst of flame 20 feet in diameter centered at a point you can see within 60 feet. This ball sets all objects within on fire.

All flames created with this staff are slightly warm, cause no damage, and fade after 1d4 minutes. If this staff is placed into a medium or smaller fire not created by the staff, it regains 1d4 expended charges and destroys the fire. The staff can only absorb fires this way once per day.
