Weapon (shortsword), uncommon

This opalescent crystalline sword is cut into thousands of solid angles, each of which reflects and refracts incoming light.

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

When you cast a spell of 4th-level or lower that targets a single creature and doesn’t have a range of self while wielding this sword, you can choose to refract it through the blade. When you do, roll 1d4. A number of random creatures within 30 feet of you (possibly including yourself) equal to the roll become targeted by the spell.

The sword can only do so once, and the sword regains the ability to do so each dawn.

Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage, Combat, Finesse, Light, Vex
