This circular shield depicts the symbol of Persana, a Golden Trident in front of a faded Silver Conch, surrounded by intricately crafted waves of sapphire and emerald.
This shield grants an additional +1 AC, along with it's normal bonus. While equipped and attuned, once per Long Rest, the Champion can cast Tidal Wave, centered on the shield and emanating outward 30 feet. After this casting, the Champion has an additional +2 AC until the start of their next turn.
Also, once per Long Rest, when an ally within 10 feet is targeted by an attack, the Champion can use a reaction to add +5 AC to the targeted ally for that attack. This effect can not be used on yourself.
Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
