This cutlass is covered with rust, and salt water continually trickles down the blade. Once wielded by the mighty Captain Okallar, it has deteriorated into its current state, but a century in a cursed shipwreck has gifted the sword with magic nonetheless.

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

You can hold your breath underwater in a saltwater body for an additional 10 minutes.

Whenever you roll a critical hit against a creature other than a construct using this sword, you can fill the wound with seawater, causing them to become poisoned for 1 minute. The creature can make a DC 13 Constitution saving throw at the end of each of its turns to end the effect early.

Proficiency with a Scimitar allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
