Ark:Shield

The Artificers of Avaris created the Arcsis system to assist Arcanists in and out of combat. The Ark:Shield is stored in your Arkstar as a program and appears as a thin protective case around the device's watch face. You must be attuned to an Arkstar to use this Arc:Gear. Arc:Gear devices can only recover expended charges using a power relay station during a short or long rest. 

You can deploy this digital shield as a bonus action. You are considered proficient with this shield even if you lack proficiency with shields.

Kinetic Repluser. When you are hit with a melee attack, you can, as a reaction, expend a charge of the shield to push the attacking creature. The creature makes a DC 14 Strength saving throw; on a fail, the creature is pushed back 10 feet. On a success, the creature is not pushed back. 

Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
