Weapon (greatsword), rare (requires attunement by a Class Barbarian, Fighter, Paladin)

Forged in the heart of a dormant volcano by a reclusive sorcerer, Astral Ignition harnesses the elemental power of fire. The sorcerer, driven by a desire to forge a weapon capable of devastating foes, infused Astral Ignition with an ethereal blue flame that captivates all who behold it.

Once per day, the wielder can channel the dark magic within the blade to envelop it in an azure-blue ethereal flame. This adds an additional 1d4 celestial fire damage to the sword for a limited duration, increasing the lethality of each swing.

The constant exposure to Celestial Ember's captivating blue flames begins to influence the mind of its wielder. The allure of the ethereal fire can be overwhelming, leading the wielder to prioritize the use of Celestial Ember's power, sometimes at the expense of strategic decision-making. This temptation can create a reckless combat style and, over time, may draw the attention of mystical entities fascinated by the enchanting azure flames.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
