Weapon (mace), artifact

A cast iron skillet with the ability to absorb the souls of what is cooked in it. Its age is unknown but it is clearly very old and contains the souls of hundreds of animals, including pigs, cows, sheep, and a few deer.  But the most notable soul in the pan is Anna, daughter of Anithius. A former wielder of the pan was her lover. When she died, he cooked her in the pan, preserving her soul, and allowing their love to go on. This was until he was killed in a (insert race) attack. One of the attackers took her back to their camp, and that night her anger boiled over. Calling upon the life forces of the animals also in the pan, she slaughtered the attacking party. She then lay on the ground, stewing in the memories of the animals around her slowly going mad, and developing Zoanthropy, before being found and resuming use as a cookware and weapon.
