Amulet of Ethereal Echoes

This intricately crafted amulet is adorned with a small, semi-translucent gemstone at its center. When attuned to the amulet, the wearer gains the ability to tap into the echoes of alternate realities.

• Ethereal Glimpse: Once per long rest, the attuned wearer can use an action to peer into an alternate reality for 1 minute. During this time, they gain glimpses of what might have been. This allows them to ask the DM one question about a possible alternate outcome or decision they could have made. The DM provides a brief, cryptic answer.
• Echo Step: As a reaction, the attuned wearer can use the amulet to momentarily phase into an ethereal state, allowing them to avoid a single attack or obstacle. This feature can be used once per short rest.
• Reality Weaver: The amulet grants advantage on Charisma (Persuasion) checks when attempting to negotiate or influence NPCs, as the wearer can draw on the wisdom gained from glimpses into alternate realities to better understand different perspectives.
• Temporal Resonance: The amulet has 3 charges. As an action, the attuned wearer can expend a charge to gain advantage on a saving throw. These charges replenish at dawn.
• Paradoxical Ward: Once per long rest, when the attuned wearer drops to 0 hit points, the amulet automatically stabilizes them and transports them to an alternate reality where they narrowly avoided the fatal blow. The wearer regains hit points equal to half their maximum hit points.
