Ankheg Armor, Plate

While wearing this armor made from the chitinous exoskeleton of an ankheg queen, you have resistance to acid damage. Additionally, since it is not made of metal, you do not suffer disadvantage on Stealth checks as a result of wearing this armor.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
