If you are an arcane archer the weapon also gives you the following benefit
-If you crit with it you recharge a use of your arcane shot ( can't go over your max)
-If one of your magic shots require the target to do a saving throw and it requires an attack roll then you can take a -5 at the attack roll and give the target disadvantage at the saving throw
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.

Posted Jun 18, 2022you only use the arcane shot if you hit, so giving yourself -5 on the attack roll is pointless as it has to have already occurred so you use the ability. lowering the damage output by 5 damage might be a better alternative. the rest of the weapon is fine.
