A miraculous invention first developed by Niqys Loofollue of the Neverwinter Tinkerer's Guild. While wearing this bracer, it taps into the weave of magic around you, harvesting a small amount of magical energy over time. Many artificers are known to use this energy to empower their inventions.
The bracer holds 10 charges. If you expend the last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, you take 2d6 lightning damage and the bracer ceases to function until you use 1 hour and 15gp worth of materials to repair it. The bracer regains 1 charge daily at dawn.
Spells. While wearing the bracer, you can use an action to expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it, using your spell attack bonus: shocking grasp (1 charge), dancing lights (1 charge), arcane weapon (3 charges), enhance ability (6 charges), or blink (9 charges).
Overload. While wearing the bracer, you can use an action to expend 1 or more charges to unleash the energy stored in the bracer. Make a ranged spell attack per charge expended. On a hit, the target takes 1d6 force damage. For every 3 charges expended this way, you take 1d4 lightning damage.
Arcane Recovery. While wearing the bracer, you can use an action to recover a spell slot (3 charges per slot level, up to 3rd).
Empower. While wearing the bracer, when you roll damage or healing for a spell or artificer ability, you can expend 1 or more charges to reroll a number of the damage or healing dice up to the amount of charges used. You must use the new rolls.
