This black onyx stone is set into silver with a silver chain. Wearing it while attuned grants the following benefits:

• You gain the ability to cast the cantrip Spare the Dying. You may cast this spell at a range of 30 ft as an action or at a range of touch as a bonus action.
• You do not age and your age cannot be altered by any means.
• If you start a turn while at 0 hit points but are stable roll 1d20. This roll is not an ability or skill check and cannot benefit from any feature that affects dice rolls like Portent or Luck. This roll is still a check against a DC of 20: if you succeed you gain 1 hit point but if you fail the DC decreases by 2 each time until you succeed or gain hit points at which time it resets to 20.
• If you start a turn while at 0 hit points and dying your spirit gains a moment of awareness of this and you may choose to cast Spare the Dying upon yourself without needing components and with no action required. This occurs before you would make any death saving throws and before any other effect, spell or magic item would trigger on you. Once this feature of this item has been used you must complete a short or long rest before you can use it again.
• You may cast the Regenerate spell as an action targeting only yourself. Once this feature of this item has been used you must complete a long rest before you can use it again.
• If you die this amulet automatically casts True Resurrection upon you and is then destroyed. If you are resurrected by this effect you cannot be resurrected again by any means for 30 days.
