Weapon (revolver), uncommon

An Arc-shot (short for Arcane shooter) is a magic firearm that can be used as an arcane focus. All Arc-shots have a mana-focusing crystal connected to the chamber or cylinder which focuses magic energy into a bullet.

The Dragoon revolver model was created by twins Damian and David Grimm and was meant to replace the military's standard-issue black powder 3-shot revolvers. However, the cost of making it made that impossible. Damian proposed that they make the internal parts out of lower-quality materials to fix the cost problem but David fought heavily refusing to make lower-quality guns. it escalated to the point where Damian and David both shot each other and they both died minutes after.

An arcane focus is a special item designed to channel the power of arcane spells. A sorcerer, warlock, or wizard can use such an item as a spellcasting focus, as described in the Spellcasting section.

It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.
