Weapon (pistol, automatic), uncommon

An Arc-shot (short for Arcane shooter) is a magic firearm that can be used as an arcane focus. All Arc-shots have a mana-focusing crystal connected to the chamber or cylinder which focuses magic energy into a bullet.

The Jehanne d'Arc SMG was created by Bonnabel Vierna before she was known by "Blue Moon Bonni" and was meant to be the standard-issue gun for bounty hunters and Lawmen. However, she became an outlaw before she could get it to take off.

An arcane focus is a special item designed to channel the power of arcane spells. A sorcerer, warlock, or wizard can use such an item as a spellcasting focus, as described in the Spellcasting section.

It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.
