Weapon (sickle), rare (requires attunement by a DC15 Nature Check or a Long Rest (studying it) )

This enchanted sickle has a blade crafted from gleaming bronze, with intricate leaf patterns etched along its curved edge. The handle is made from the wood of an ancient, mystical tree that always sheds its leaves in vibrant autumn colors.

  • Harvesting Touch: When using this sickle to gather ingredients from plants or creatures, you gain advantage on any associated skill checks (such as Nature or Survival).

  • Seasonal Cut: On a successful hit against a plant-based creature or a creature with a natural origin, the sickle deals an additional 1d4 necrotic damage, representing the draining energy of autumn.

  • Nature's Resilience: Once per day, as a reaction when you take damage from a spell or attack that deals fire damage, you can absorb some of that energy. You gain temporary hit points equal to half the fire damage taken, and the sickle's blade glows with a warm, autumnal light for 1 minute.

  • Curse: While attuned to Autumn's Embrace, you find yourself particularly drawn to the beauty of nature and may become contemplative during moments of tranquility. The curse is more of a roleplaying aspect than a mechanical drawback.

In the heart of the woodlands, where the whispering winds carry tales of the changing seasons, lies a blade of mystic provenance—the Autumn's Harvester. Forged beneath the boughs of a time-old tree that weeps leaves of gold and crimson, this enchanted sickle embodies the spirit of the fall.

Legend has it that the Harvester was first wielded by a guardian of the harvest, chosen by the primal forces that govern the cycle of life. Its gleaming bronze blade, adorned with delicate leaf patterns, possesses the power to commune with nature itself.

With each careful stroke, the Harvester aids in the gathering of magical ingredients, its touch enhancing the skill of the wielder. In battle, it dances with the grace of falling leaves, delivering a whispering cut that draws upon the very essence of autumn, sapping life from the foes of the natural world.

Yet, the Harvester is not merely a weapon; it is a companion to those attuned to the balance of life and death. In moments of peril, it offers solace, absorbing the fiery onslaughts and returning them as fleeting, golden vitality.

Beware, however, for with such gifts comes a connection to the realm of nature that transcends the mundane. Those who attune to the Autumn's Harvester may find themselves drawn into contemplation amidst the beauty of the changing seasons—a curse perhaps, but one that weaves their fate into the tapestry of the eternal harvest.

Proficiency with a Sickle allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
