While wearing these bracers, you have proficiency with the longbow and shortbow, and you gain a +2 bonus to damage rolls on ranged attacks made with such weapons.
At first glance it looks like any other leather wrist protection. There is a custom padding and liner that is a combination of green denim and floral print. The leather is thick and oiled, shaped to fit more comfortably when in any shooting position. The stitching is very strong and is in the shape of woodland animals running through the forest. On the line from the thumb to the crook of the elbow are four slots in the shape of gems. When an enchanted gem is slotted the wearer has the ability to add extra damage to the arrow according to which gem is chosen for the attack. Only one gem effect can be used per arrow used. Any number of gems could be found in the adventure, but only 4 may be slotted at any one time. Requires a short rest to slot in or switch out gems.
