These Enchanted gauntlets are woven from the living vines of an sentient tree, intertwined with the essence of various animals. They pulsate with a primal energy, and small leaves occasionally sprout from them, only to wither away.
While attuned to the gauntlets, as an action, you may expend a Hit Die to reduce your maximum hit points by an amount equal to the number rolled on the Hit Die. When you do so, you regain one expended use of your Wild Shape feature. This reduction to your maximum hit points lasts until you finish a long rest
Sentience. The Animorph Gauntlets are sentient with a neutral good alignment, possessing an Intelligence of 14, a Wisdom of 18, and a Charisma of 12. They have a hearing and darkvision out to a range of 60 feet, and can communicate telepathically with the attuned druid in the druidic language.
Personality. The gauntlets embody the spirits of the ancient creature whose vines they were created from, possessing a deep-seated urge to protect the natural worlds. They bond with druids who share this protective instinct and may become restless or even retract their powers if they feel their wearer is becoming detached from nature.
