The eversharp scimitar is a one of a kind blade crafted by Milly of Lakeside in the Ancient Forge of the Myrr Hill Dwarves. The scimitar looks more like a work of art than a weapon of war but don't mistake it as a display piece. The tang is made of dwarven steel with a blended mithril cutting edge. The mithril in the blade can only be sharpened by an artisan craftsman and must be heated in a forge. Once cooled the blade will not dull or Knick under normal use. But it can still be damaged or broken by excessive force, or magical means.
The blade of the eversharp scimitar can also be sharpened further (Upgraded to +2) if heated at a forge and stropped with the skin of a basilisk or similar mythical creature. As with all artisan weapons, the quality of this blade makes it the perfect candidate for magical enchantment.
Fine Blades such as these deserve a name.
Proficiency with a Scimitar allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
