Typically used by war-faring colonies of insectoids, a beetle husk is a primarily male armor, allowing them the power of flight and, in certain cases, the ability to shrink and perform stealth missions. A Beetle husk looks similar to the exoskeleton of a Rhino-Bear beetle*.

Flight. When worn, a pair of insect like wings sprout from the back, allowing 20 feet of movement in any direction.

Insect Size. Once per long rest, you can use the Beetle husk’s innate magic to shrink in size. For 1 hour, your creature size becomes tiny, and you gain advantage on all stealth checks. You can end this early if you wish.

*basically a Rhino beetle with a bear’s claws

This armor consists of a fitted metal chest piece worn with supple leather. Although it leaves the legs and arms relatively unprotected, this armor provides good protection for the wearer's vital organs while leaving the wearer relatively unencumbered.
