A fruit which resembles a green pear. It does not appear to age or rot, but otherwise seems to be normal. After a total of 8 bites, the entire fruit is devoured.
Notes: When bitten, player rolls 1d20 for a random effect. Character then: [1]: gains effect of the Greater Invisibility spell for 5 minutes. [2]: drops to zero HP and falls unconscious; begin rolling death saving throws each turn. [3]: suffers from random condition for 30 minutes (roll 1d8 for condition: 1=delusion believing it is snowing/freezing cold in the environment and has disadvantage on all attack rolls and Constitution saving throws, 2=able to take two actions per turn in combat, 3=loses proficiency with any weapons held by hand, 4=believes friends are foes and vice versa, 5=polymorphed into a vampire but retains own personality and mental faculties, 6=immediately falls into a deep sleep which resembling death aside from very slight breathing; Inspection rolls of 17+ can detect the breathing, 7=gains 35 temporary HP, 8=gains advantage on all saving throws) [4]: is immediately teleported 120’ in a random direction. [5]: a strong sense of memory floods the player’s mind, and they suddenly “remember” the location of a magic item somewhere in the world. [6]: one base stat is permanently increased by 1 (roll 1d6 for results: 1=STR, 2=DEX, 3=CON, 4=INT, 5=WIS, 6=CHA). [7]: gains advantage on attack rolls for 24 hours. [8]: suffers the effect of Sunlight Sensitivity for 48 hours. [9]: WIS base stat is permanently reduced by 1. [10]: gains the feat Lucky; or a different feat of their choice if they already have Lucky. [11]: maximum HP is reduced by 15; cannot drop below 1. [12]: loses one of their senses for 24 hours (roll 1d6 for results: 1=Hearing, 2=Touch, 3=Smell, 4=Sight, 5=Taste, 6=Arcane). [13]: becomes addicted to the taste of the fruit, and rapidly consumes any remaining bites; all subsequent effects from the fruit apply. After the fruit is consumed, the player suffers from withdrawals and takes 3d6 damage. [14]: is imbued with a magical force and learns one new cantrip of their choice from any class spell list; even for non-spellcasters. [15]: all racial bonuses are nullified for 10 days. [16]: attracts a herd of cats which follows them around for 6 hours. [17]: suffers the effect of the Hold Person spell for 1 minute; no saving throw. [18]: suddenly feels a surge of knowledge fill their mind, and they gain proficiency in one skill of their choice. [19]: No noticeable effect, but character has become charmed and is filled with a deep desire to force others to eat the fruit; character entices allies to also take a bite until either all bites have been consumed or the fruit has been destroyed. [20]: Immediately appears paralyzed and can't move, meanwhile character has a vision of a future event in story/plot; character reanimates to restored mobility after vision ends., Buff, Debuff, Consumable
